Respite Weekend

We had a wonderful time this weekend caring for a 2 and 3 year old sister and brother! Our kids were SOOO helpful! The little ones came with us easily when we picked them up. They were giggling on the way home even making each other laugh! Then when we got home they were all smiles and fun. They slept well. Ate well. Played lots. They got lots of attention and we were all a bit sad to see them go. But it felt good giving a foster family some time off. I'm sure they needed it... The little ones were very well-behaved but very busy too. Our kids wanted to take them to the park, so we did. Then took pictures by some big blow-up Halloween balloons. Then went to the horse-stable where Mgrace works and let them pet the horses. They liked our chickens and cats. Our little golden retriever was a bit too excitable for them though. On Sunday we were able to take them to church with us and then over to Mimi and Pap's house for dinner. A fun weekend for us all!
