Easter info.

Our little CC in Haiti will celebrate his birthday this year on Easter Sunday! He'll be turning 5. We won't be down there to celebrate on the exact day,,,but at least we get to help celebrate a few days later! =) Which is just like our family...we always seem to sort of drag out bday celebrations around here.

I got curious about when/if he will ever celebrate his bday on Easter again. Well over at Farmer's Almanac dot com =) I found this! Enjoy!

Earliest Easter You Will See In Your Lifetime
In the present calendar, the date for Easter shifts every year. The holiday will occur no earlier than March 22 and no later than April 25.

The date of Easter is determined as being the first Sunday following the first full moon (also known as the Paschal full moon) that occurs on or after the day of the vernal equinox (spring).

The first day of spring is March 20th.

The full Paschal (also known as the full worm moon) is on March 21st, thus Easter Sunday is on March 23rd.

Earliest Easter since 1913!
The last time Easter was celebrated on March 23rd was 95 years ago in 1913!

The Next Time?
Easter will not be this early again until the year 2228!

One day earlier!
In 2285 - Easter will be one day earlier - the earliest it can ever be - March 22nd!

Next year Easter will be on April 12th.

So enjoy! This will be the Earliest Easter you will ever celebrate

So I guess CC won't be celebrating his bday again on Easter...unless he lives to be 225!

And NO I really don't have time to be worrying about things like this right now! But it was fun!

Now back to packing, Easter preparations, driving an hour away for shots, cleaning, cooking and somehow SCHOOL! =)
